Hap Magee Ranch Park
Great sized area to play. However very wet and muddy. Grass not evenly maintained in large dog area. Bring towels to wipe fido down if you don't want a car full of mud and dirt.

Dogpile Dogs
We love this place and so does our dog! The facility has been designed with a lot of thought, and is always kept clean. There is a alot of indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to play in, and futons inside for them to sleep on. The lady who runs Dogpile is super nice and pays close attention to the dogs throughout the day. I really like that my dog doesn't come home smelling like urine at the end of the day (which is common at many other doggie daycare places). 5 bones!

Dog Dog Cat
Lots of fun dog stuff here. Carry a good variety of leashes, collars, toys, and even bakery treats. Great selection of Ruff Wear items and very friendly staff.

Park Tahoe Inn
Pros:
Dogs permitted at $25 a nite.
Good location.
You can find discounts online.
Cons:
Rooms not sound proof, ask for an upstairs room.
Free breakfast was poor, they ran out of things quickly and didn't top them back up.
No dog treats, no dog bedding etc provided.
Additional resort fee of $7 and parking of $5 is annoying.
I would stay again at the discounted rate. I would not pay full price for this hotel.

South Beach Cafe
We like this place a lot. Very reasonably priced food and friendly service. Thin crust pizza is great! Plenty of outdoor seating which is good if you go with a group and multiple dogs. Can tend to get cold at night time, so rug up.

The Creamery
Great place to enjoy a meal with my pup. Food can be slow and often cold, but still tastes ok. A little pricey for what you get, but there is a good selection of crepes and sandwiches. Most importantly my dog can comfortably sit next to me and enjoy the sun while we eat.
