South End Buttery Bakery & Cafe

oh I can't believe I am the first to review this super dog friendly cafe located in the super dog friendly neighborhood.
You can always find great sandwiches, good coffee, friendly people and yummy doggie cookies here.

5/26 9:47pm

Charles River Canoe & Kayak

This is one of our favoriate things to do with our dog.
We have tried both canoeing and kayaking and like both. For those who just want to spend a couple of hours on the river, their one-way rental is a great option.

3/8 12:34pm

MBTA

Awesome!! This makes Boston the most dog friendly city in the country!!

3/8 12:30pm

Parish Cafe

friendly services, GREAT sandwiches. Expect a long wait on sunny weekends as dog friendly tables are limited.

3/8 12:02pm

Bretton Woods Nordic Center

There are about 10 km trails designated for skiers with dogs. The doggie trails are located in a secluded area separated from the rest of trails. The trails are very well groomed.

11/9 9:45am

Bentley Hotel

Reasonable rates, very friendly staff, spacious room and modern decor. Pets are only allowed if you book the rooms directly with the hotel (or if you inform them ahead of time after booking through travel websites) otherwise $125 fee is applied as opposed to $25. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, a bit of walk to major subway and tourist attractions (if you can travel with your pet, you can handle the walk..)

10/1 12:08pm

Windy Hill Open Space Preserve

Short and easy hike with beautiful sceneries. I am giving it 3 star review only because we visited during the tick season (spring/summer)and found many ticks on our puggle after the hike.

10/1 11:40am

Boston Common

We love taking our puggle Preston to Boston Common on a sunny day. Thanks to the pilot program, well-behaved dogs are allowed to be off-leash on certain areas of the park 6:30-8:30 am and 5-7pm. Parking near the Common is not easy to find but pets are allowed on Boston subway (the T) during off-peak hours and on weekends. There are many restaurants/coffee shops with pet-friendly outdoor seatings on nearby Newbury and Boyston streets.

9/24 2:08pm

Brookline Avenue Playground

There are many dogs to play with on the weekends. Wish the dog hours are longer. Dawn-1pm (April-Nov), Dawn-Dusk (Dec-March). Make sure you bring your own poo bags.

9/24 1:55pm

Laundromutt

Super friendly staff. They carry high quality products in their boutqiue. The DIY dog wash station is easy to use and great for big dogs.

9/21 8:10am

Marymoor Park

When they say this is a "Doggy Disneyland", they are not kidding. This place is HUGE!

9/21 7:45am

Pet Food Express Limited

We love Pet Food Express when we lived in the Bay Area. They carry many unique and high quality products that often only found in small fancy pet boutiques but without the boutique price tags. Their buy 3 (dog food) and get 1 free is the best deal we have ever seen. The staff is always friendly. ohh..and the VIP clinic offers the best prices for vaccination and heartworm/ticks medication we could find.

9/21 7:32am

Drigon Dog Park

a very well-maintained dog park in a resdiential neighborhood. We like the agility equipments. When the park is closed due to the weather, there is a secondary fenced-in area that is always open. Dogs and owners who don't mind the mud can still have fun there.

9/20 9:21pm

Abe & Louie's

We came to Abe & Louie's for their weekend brunch. The friendly staff was happy to seat us and our puggle Preston at one of the outdoor tables next to the rails. Preston had to stay on the other side of the rail but he was right next to us! The food is great! This place could get real busy and dog-friendly tables are limited.

9/13 9:13am

Fresh Pond Reservation

This is a paradise for Cambridge dogs who likes to run, swim, play and sniff! Off-leash is allowed for Cambridge licensed dogs. Only cars with a Cambridge Parking sticker ("Guest Parking" permit won't do) can park at the lot (they do give out the tickets).

9/13 9:06am

JP Licks

Our puggle, Preston, loves JP Lick's doggie ice cream "Cow Paw"!
