Washington Park (Park Slope) Dog Run

To whoever was talking about mexicans and pitbulls, you are a racist and should not be allowed to post publicly. Pitbulls are indeed strong dogs but the ones who are dangerous and vicious were made that way or bred that way by, who? PEOPLE! Vicious, dangerous PEOPLE. I have fostered and owned several pitbulls who played with my children because they were raised to be friendly and loving and our children were trained in how to properly treat a dog, of any breed. You can feel uncomfortable someplace and simply say that. But the fact that you are pointing out breeds and races shows me you are simply an ignorant racist and I hope everyone else ignores your post. Your dog may be small but the only dog I have ever been bite by has been a small maltese. Should they be banned? Any country, person, or area than bands a breed or a group of people based on their color are racist and would rather shun than treat the problem - people who raise animals in poor, neglectful or abusive situations should be stopped and dogs should be saved and trained. Otherwise I could easily say that someone of your race committed murder this week. Therefore, you are being banned from this neighborhood. Take your precious dog and leave the area.
