Sullivan Bistro
Nice porch (who has a proper porch in NYC?) where the pup is welcome. Good for a lazy afternoon beer or coffee.

Greenwich Village Animal Hospital
Vet was very friendly and efficient. No complaints...even the dog liked going.

Canine Styles
Posh but pricy. It's very good and the staff is very friendly, but not really necessary.

Washington Square Park Dog Run
With both large and small dog runs, the WSQ run is great for your dog no matter how big or small. The large dog run is a considerably larger space.

Birdbath Neighborhood Green Bakery
Vegan bakery with a handy clip outside for tying up the mutt. It's a tiny place - the staff is friendly and the cookies are stacked high. Tragically, they are not my favorite cookie. Perhaps this is due to a focus on other things. Consider the following facts about Birdbath gently lifted from elsewhere on the interwebs:
Neighborhood green bakery offering wide variety of goods prepared with organic, seasonal ingredients. Uses corn-based biodegradable cups and no-wax containers. Interior built with sustainable and salvaged materials; uses wind-powered energy; participates in composting program. Offers 25 percent discount if you arrive by bicycle or skateboard.

Doma Cafe & Gallery
Excellent little cafe, but not incredibly dog friendly (hence only three bones). Worth a mention, though because there are easy places to tie up your pup outside and benches on the sidewalk to relax on. If your pup is the patient type, some people leave them on the steps while they enjoy the inside.
Food is good, coffee is simple (cappichino, yes, grande mocha frapathing, no), patrons are nice, and customers linger with their books and laptops. A sign with somewhat conflicted emotions encourages you both to "live slow" and to leave your table after two hours.

Groom-o-rama Inc.
Puppies and general pet supplies available here. This place had a few varieties of treats/toys that I had difficulty finding elsewhere. However, there were some sad looking cages in the back...I guess for the puppies not on display up front and for dogs left to be groomed. Overall not a bad pet store.

Biography Bookshop
An excellent little bookstore with a focus on biographies. Other genres are also well represented.
Your dog is welcome while you browse.

Walkee Doggie
I have been very pleased with the service. Angelica, the owner, is very pleasant.
Walkers are typically on time and take the pup out for the full amount of time (with some forgivable variations). I've lived in the UES, Murray Hill, and W. Village and stuck with this service.
Note that there is another company with a similar name run by college kids in Brooklyn. I can't speak for this service.

Pets Emporium
A small but friendly Brooklyn Heights pet store. The owner, Sammy, clued us in to the only line of dog toys our puppy couldn't tear apart in minutes (she would go right for the seams).
Four bones, but would be five if not such a tiny spot.

Petco
Pretty standard as far as Petco's go (which is all in all a good thing), but I always found the staff here to be very friendly and helpful.
