Sports Basement
I love Sports Basement! You can shop and walk your dog at the same time! The staff here are extremely friendly, especially towards your pooch. There's treats available and a staff member will probably hand your dog a treat.

El Tonayense Taco Truck
Not really considered a dog friendly "restaurant" since there's no tables and chairs or water for the dogs. You can stand with your dog while eatIng I guess.
On the positive side they are very clean and have great tacos!!

John Mclaren Park
This is a park not too many seem to know about. It's pretty quiet so you can have a nice peaceful walk with your pooch.
There's great views of the city and plenty of trails to explore. There are two ponds in the park. One is extremely filty and sadly, my dog has fallen in by accident. The other one is newly renovated made for dogs to swim in.
Go check out this park if you haven't already!

Best in Show
They have a great variety of doggie supplies and treats here. I bought my dog a small "carrot cake" for his birthday. He loved his cake and ended up having cake 4 days in a row since I didn't want him to eat it all in one day.

San Francisco Giants Baseball
Brought my dog to the special event "Dog Days of Summer". It's an event every dog owner should try to attend at least once. There's a parade before the game where you and your dog can walk around the field. There's even a doggie costume contest.
This event is usually an afternoon game so the weather can get really hot. Make sure your dog does not get overheated and stays comfortable. The SF/SPCA's friendly staff and volunteers are there to provide water for your pooches and there's even a vet just in case.
I gave this event 4 stars because that day was scorching hot and my dog got really stressed from all the activities. I had to go home by the end of the 6th inning.

Fort Funston
My dog can never get enough of fort funston! Once we get to the parking lot, he can't stop whining because he can't wait to get out and run. Lots of open space for your dog to run, a beach if your dog loves the water. Everyone there is always friendly and are very responsible with their own pets. Definitely a positive experience for you and your dog!

Crepevine
Great place to have breakfast/lunch with your pooch. They have a great variety of crepes that can be paired with nice strong coffee. There's a few tables outside the restaurant for you and your pooch to city watch. The staff seems to love the doggies also.
