Point Reyes Beach (North & South)
No dogs allowed on any trails-- only picnic areas by the visitor center parking lot and the beaches. Since it's part of the National Park Service, their first priority is to protect the wildlife, who get frightened away by the scent that dogs leave behind (they think it's wolves). Anyway it's what the park ranger said and he wouldn't even allow my doggie to be carried on the trail. It's really too bad, I love this park except it's not pet friendly at all.
