Hog Island Oyster Company
There's a great outdoor picnic area with self-service grills. They have a bar where you can order shucked oysters, local cheeses and beverages. You need to get there right at 11 if you have a large group or want to claim one of the grills.

LaSalette (Mediterranean)
La Salette has a very nice outdoor patio that allows dogs. They were very kind to our pup and kept his water dish full. The food was very elegant and the service was attentive. Somewhat expensive but a very nice experience.

Mt. Hood Regional Park
This is one of the bigger regional parks in Sonoma. The hiking is strenuous with significant elevation gains and losses so be prepared and bring plenty of water. It's secluded enough to let the dog off leash once you get far enough in.

Rocky Memorial Dog Park
This is a huge park with lots of area to run around. Most of the owners seem responsible and the doggie vibe is good. They have water and an area to rinse off.

Swiss Hotel Bar & Restaurant
They have a beautiful back patio, but it's not open to 4 legged patrons. Dogs are welcome in the front patio area, which is really more like a bar area. It's right on Sonoma square and the food is pretty good overall.
