Council Crest Park
Fantastic park. Lots of room to play and run and nice view for the owners: you can see two snow covered mountains from here.

Summerlake Park
Park is absolutely wonderful. Lots of shade, running water, grass and mulch area. Perfect fir all weather conditions. We loved it.

Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort
Very nice hotel that allows dog up to 75 pounds to stay here. Unfortunately it costs 75 Dollars per dog. Some Hiltons provide you with a dog bed, dog dishes, even treats and bags - not his one though.
Dogs are allowed at the beach from 5 am - 10 am. Very nice. Especially since the beach is right in front of the hotel.

Best Friends Dog Park
Very nice dog park with lots of shade.
Water and bags were provided and I must say, all in all it was one of the most well kept parks we have been to. A real joy!

Starbucks
This Starbucks is inside a hotel. The hotel itself is not pet friendly, but we just got our coffee and cake inside and were allowed to sit outside in the rocking chairs and take out time.
The shade provided was wonderful during the super hot summer and our dog enjoyed her cup of ice water.

Very nice park with lots of shade.
Dogs and dog owner are very friendly and make the visit a pleasant experience.

Starbucks Coffee
Our absolute favorite place.
Staff is super friendly and dog loving. Our dog is getting her ice water hand delivered in a water bowl and is being praised for her beauty all the time.
If in the area, it's definitely THE place to go.

Great Falls Park
Very nice and shady walks are possible here. Dogs have to be on leash all the time, but that's ok.
Water loving dogs will be in misery, since there is no way to get near the wild waters. For good reason. Every year people die who think "it's not that bad".
All in all we loved it here during the hot summer and welcomed the shade.
Bring water and a bowl for your dog in summer. Our dog was thirsty ever 50 steps.

The Dog Park
Nice dog store. Very friendly owner. Dog cookies are a little different than anywhere else, look like cookies for humans. Awesome!

Jekyll Island
Absolutely recommendable for the beaches. Dogs have "beach access" everywhere on this island and are allowed to play in the waves.
Please pick up after your dog. It is not only courteous but also protects the health of the wildlife.
The parking fee of 5 dollars goes to wildlife protection (they have a sea turtle rescue center on the island) and to maintain the facilities.
The Jekyll Club House is not dog friendly, but you can buy food at the deli and take it wherever you like.
In summer: Bring lots of water for your dog and a water bowl. Sea water makes them so thirsty.

Taverna Cretekou
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Excellent food.Very friendly waiters. Dogs have lots of spots to smell, roll in the flower beds ( or maybe better not) or rest in the shade or sun - depending on time of the year. We loved this place. Bring a camera! It's worth it!

Excellent Asian fusion dishes. Super friendly owner who loves to create new meals and sushi. Highly recommendable.
