San Francisco Giants Baseball
Once a year the ballpark opens its doors to dogs; they call it the " Dog days of summer". This is a fantastic event! It is very well planned and although it can get crowded it is so worth it. If you come early and don't mind waiting in a bit of a line - you and your pup can join the puppy parade on the field just before the game starts - great for pictures!
This year they had great volunteers walking up and down the bleachers with water, treats and puppy bags. The dogs are great, the dog parents are happy, just an overall good atmosphere an event I think every dog parent and their dog should experience. The tickets are a little pricy - but a fun outing if you can make it. The weather is unpredictable, so dress in layers and prepare your pup for potentially a hot day.

Foster City Bark Park
I really enjoyed bringing Baxter, my four legged companion here! There is a big dog and small dog side - we were on the small dog side. Pups all seemed to get along for the most part - human counter parts as well. No real dirt or grass on the small puppy side -which I prefered so Baxter wasn't as dirty after playing. Plenty of room to play fetch, have the dogs play, dogs sprint back and forth and room for puppy parents to sit - lots of sitting areas. Also great quality puppy poop bags for your use to clean up if your dog should have to go.
Beware though - clean/wipe your dog afterwards - I've heard of more than a few cases of dogs catching fleas here.

Bow Wow Meow
A great small local doggie boutique that is very popular with local pet parents. Nice selection of collar, leashes, harnesses etc. and bow wow will special order any designs you want if they don't have it.
Lots of great organic toys too! Baxter's favorite is simply fido - they have a great selection!
They also have lots of "fresh", not pre-packaged doggie cookies, as well as special doggie cookies and cupcakes.
Worth a visit!

The Counter Palo Alto
This is a great place to bring you four legged companion!! And an awesome place for a great burger, sweet potato fries, or as we like to order it - half sweet potato half regular.
We brought our puppy here for his first birthday, and he loved people watching while sipping on some ice water and getting attention from people walking by. Highly recommend the outdoor seating on a nice day!

Stanford Shopping Center
Stanford Mall is the perfect place to hang out with your pup, shop, people watch or run into other people & pups. We brought our pup here for his first birthday he loved Bowlicious Pet Boutique, walking around meeting other pups and overall just walking, sitting and hanging out. Spinkles Cupcakes even sells cupcakes for dogs!
Overall a great place to bring your pup!
I've seen big labs to mini purse dogs here.
You can hang out, shop and bring your pup to enjoy all the sites!
Great for people and pups - 5 doggie bones!
