Gordon Pet Photography
So, I'm a bit bias being that this is my mother's business. However, there is little bias in speaking to her professional certifications and awards.
Serious about her art and profession, Ann Gordon is an active member in and certified by the Professional Photographers of America.
Within this guild she regularly competes her work on local and international levels. Her images have been recognized as Best In Show in Northern California and selected for General Collection and Loan Collection in international competition.
Further differentiating herself from her peers and general photographers she specializes ENTIRELY in working with animals. She has extensively studied animal art throughout history and has taken classes in animal psychology to ensure she is able to produce the best images for her clients.
In my experience, she does a superb job using skill and a sense of humor to make shoots a fun event for both pets and owners alike.
Although she is adept at producing many styles of work to fit with client desires, I believe she truly excels in producing portraiture in the classic style with deep rich colors.
She's very nice and always happy to discuss your on portraiture and pets.

Alston Park
Great park surrounded by vineyards!
Has 3 large pens for dogs to socialize with ample seating for owners and kiddy pools again for the dogs on hot days (or on cool ones too as the labs never seem to mind).
Just up the hill from the pens is a 1+ mile off leash loop trail. Tons of dogs and people walking at all hours of the day. The park extends on further but leashes are required.
Always a good time.
