great place to bring your well behaved dog. you can sit outside have a few beers eat some food. probably best to bring them to the park before hand so they are quite and chill so not to annoy the other people there but always a good place to go on a sunny day. it can get busy though.

Great dog, friendly restaurant choice near ocean beach. If it is a warm summer day it gets really crowded and the service is non-existant. I suggest snagging some of the adirondack chairs and ordering beers/ and food from the limited menu which is then delivered to your lawn location. Food is decent, but pricey.

I give it a 3 because it is GREAT for your dogs! It's too bad the service and food is SOOO bad here.

The Park Chalet is a great place to take your pup after some beach play on Ocean Beach. They have great food, live music, and lots of room on the grass and in the Adirondack chairs...

I had a great birthday here with a group of friends and their dogs. We sat in the grassy area and listen to music.

This has to be one of the best dog friendly restaurants in the city. (Well if all the way out to the ocean is still considered the city).

A vast lawn out back with some tables, and plenty of space for blankets and picnic finery.

The service is surprisingly good and the food is sometimes excellent. I had pulled pork and it was great, but my wife did not like her overcooked ahi sandwich.

Live music, sun (or fog as the case may be) and beer. It does not get much better than this.

Dogs do need to be on leash and there are a lot of children and other distractions, so well socialized dogs are a must.

There is an open backyard area where you can sit on the back steps or lawn with your pup, have a beverage, and order food. There are some scattered seats and small tables but this is limited on the pet-friendly back lawn, especially on sunny weekend days when it can get crowded. This also seems to be a popular spot for young families so if your dog isn't good around toddlers that's something to watch out for. Drinks and food were decent enough, nothing special and no real deals. The fries/bar food looked pretty good. There is often live music which is fun, and the beach is just across the street and Golden Gate park just behind so it's prime location to wear out your dog before having a drink or food. My advice: take your dog to Fort Funston first, which is much more dog friendly and just a short 2 mile drive away. Then your dog can sleep in the grass while you enjoy your beer :-)
