Super greasy spoon diner here with alot of outdoor space to sit and enjoy the water view with your dog. I have even had the staff offer my dog some meat for snacking! The patio is large and some of it is covered, but it is surrounded by a large asphalt parking lot, no grass really nearby.

Keep an eye out for drivers moving too fast in the pier/parking lot.

Great place to grab a beer and enjoy the bay. The burgers on the sourdough rolls are great! Lots of place for pooches out back and lots of parking (not on game day).

Love bringing my little boys here. Plenty of outdoor seating, and the staff will happily hunt you down a quiet table, away from either other dogs, or rowdy frat boys beering it up.

Everytime I come, there's a small, side plate of fries waiting for my guys with my order.

Dog friendly restaurant with great views of the the bay bridge. Bloody Mary's are great and their brunch specials are worth the trip.

Lots of covered outdoor space with a great view of the Bay.

Food is a bit greasy. Interesting to have burgers come in sour dough sandwich buns.

I have to say it's pretty awesome to be able to sit by the water (even if it is with a view of a warehouse and pigeon poop) and enjoy some bevvies WITH my dog. The staff was friendly to him and other dogs were chillin in the patio area as well. They were completely fine with the dogs hanging out in the patio area, and even let us come inside to the bar area when we got too cold.

As for the food, it's a little greasy-spoon/fry up, but if you're just looking for the bar experience it gets the job done. Certainly nothing fancy- very low key, very cheap, and kudos on the dog-friendliness.

Red's is the classic greasy spoon diner with a killer location. It has a large outside seating area and is a great spot for food & drinks if you're out on the Embarcadero or on your way to the ball game. They make the drinks strong and the PBRs are only $1.75. The food is about what you would expect from a diner. When it gets a bit cold they have two covered tables next to the outside bar.

My pup always gets lots of attention here from the laid back, drunken patrons and stays entertained drooling at the seagulls.
