Nice place to come for coffee, salad or sandwich in nice weather only. Prices are expensive - $12 for a cellophane wrapped sandwich. Really? Coffee is decent.
Dogs have to be left outside tied to a chair or table. That's fine for a retriever but when service is slow and I'm standing in line forever, I'm worried someone will make off with my toy poodle.

Great place to enjoy a meal with my pup. Food can be slow and often cold, but still tastes ok. A little pricey for what you get, but there is a good selection of crepes and sandwiches. Most importantly my dog can comfortably sit next to me and enjoy the sun while we eat.

Expensive, slow and some of the kids working here can be surly at times. But, quite dog-friendly outside so we go anyway, and the crepe are a nice change. They also need to come down on the cars outside, hard. Cars idling nearby really can ruin the experience.

I love this place! They make their ice coffee in a special way - no other ice coffee in the city even comes close in flavor. Very cool looking building. Sookie came right in with me to place my order and there's plenty of room to enjoy your yummy coffee and food outside.

Great coffee and tea, and a wonderful patio to sit and watch all of the commuters hop on or off caltrain!

The Creamery has a nice outdoor patio that somehow doesn't feel like you're sitting on the corner of Townsend and 4th... it's usually sunny and warm here, with comfortable chairs and tables and a fenced-in area that makes tying up the dog easy. Plus, there is a least one girl who works here that goes totally nuts for my dog- she loves him and gives Captain a personal affection pampering every time we stop by. It's very easy to have my dog wait outside, feel comfortable about his safety while I'm inside ordering, and then enjoy my coffee/tea outside with him.
The coffee here is very strong, and they also have Mighty Leaf Teas which I love. They have a good little menu, with crepes, salads, and selected bakery items. The bakery and prepared sandwich items look a little cookie-cutter Starbucks-esque to me, and the food isn't really that great, but at least they have some options. The service is pretty slow, so don't come here if you're in a rush.
