Once a year the ballpark opens its doors to dogs; they call it the " Dog days of summer". This is a fantastic event! It is very well planned and although it can get crowded it is so worth it. If you come early and don't mind waiting in a bit of a line - you and your pup can join the puppy parade on the field just before the game starts - great for pictures!
This year they had great volunteers walking up and down the bleachers with water, treats and puppy bags. The dogs are great, the dog parents are happy, just an overall good atmosphere an event I think every dog parent and their dog should experience. The tickets are a little pricy - but a fun outing if you can make it. The weather is unpredictable, so dress in layers and prepare your pup for potentially a hot day.

4 bones for the awesome event known as the Dog Days of Summer. bring your dog to a game, sit in the bleachers and have an unforgettable moment with your family. You can even parade your dog on the field if you get there early enough. We went a while back when Alou was on the team and the crowd would cheer "Alouuuuuuuuu" the dogs loved it and howled along!
Minus only one bone since we didn't see any dog-friendly food available (hint to the promoters: good way to make some cash) but we made do with hotdogs.

We go to the Dog Days of Summer every year and the pooches LOVE it! We had an amazing time (although I prefer the daytime event)! Don't forget to go early and walk around the field. They are a little strict on keeping the line moving, but try to stop and sneak as many pics as possible. Amazing opportunity!

Brought my dog to the special event "Dog Days of Summer". It's an event every dog owner should try to attend at least once. There's a parade before the game where you and your dog can walk around the field. There's even a doggie costume contest.
This event is usually an afternoon game so the weather can get really hot. Make sure your dog does not get overheated and stays comfortable. The SF/SPCA's friendly staff and volunteers are there to provide water for your pooches and there's even a vet just in case.
I gave this event 4 stars because that day was scorching hot and my dog got really stressed from all the activities. I had to go home by the end of the 6th inning.

At&t park is one of the best baseball stadiums I've been to. It has beautiful views of the water and when you actually get a sunny day in SF going to games is a blast. You and your dog can peek in on the game from the standing room area behind the park. They also have an official "Dog Days of Summer" every year when you can bring your dog with you to the game. Check it out this year on August 1st.
