Oliver was visiting from southern California and had a great time at this beach! Perfect view of the golden gate and fun to watch the kite surfers.

Romo loves this park/beach. Nice folks, although it gets crowded on warm weekends. Do keep your dog out of the protected areas, they are trying to shelter a number of birds and small animals. All of which Romo thinks are food!

roadie loves crissy field! what dog doesn't? it's a great place to take your dog meet friends and have a picnic. all the dogs seem so happy there and enjoy playing with each other.
bring a hat as it can get chilly there when the wind is blowing.

This is Sookie's #1 beach spot and our second favorite dog park. Number 1 is Point Isabel, but the beach and swimming here is much better. This beach is constantly changing shape - there's always a shallow "river" flowing through from Crissy Marsh where smaller dogs and beginner swimmers can romp around. There are always lots of dogs to play with and plenty of room for running around. Sometimes you'll see sea lions and pelicans fishing right off the beach.

Audrey dog is a huge fan of Chrissy field and so are my husband and I! We love to go there for BBQs and always bring the mutt along so we can take a few runs down to the dog area.

Great fun for her swimming and running, just be sure and steer clear of the wildlife preserve areas.

One of her best times here was when she found a dead baby seal and rolled all in it...she loves being stinky. Granted, this was a one time deal, don't be discouraged!

NOTE: There can be a lot of kids here so make sure and watch your mutt if they are unpredictable around kids!

The dogs get sooo excited when we pull into the parking lot at Crissy Field. It is their favorite spot in the city. Lots of dogs to play with and a great jogging path to the bridge.

Love Crissy Field. May just be the best dog spot in the city- great views, easy to get to, easy parking, doggie water fountains, and miles to play and swim.

If your looking for a great walk on the beach with your dog, you cant go wrong here, and dont forget the best damn view imaginable! This beach can get crowded on weekends, and that means alot of families and children who can get in the way of ball tossing!

Great location to take your dog for a beach romp! Lots of friendly people and dogs are always around to make any outing an enjoyable one. However, it can get pretty crowded over the weekend if the weather is nice so I would recommend weekdays. The only down side to this location is the lack of "doggie" amenities. There is only one water fountain around and depending on what part of the beach you are at it can be quiet a hike.

Everyone loves Crissy Field! This beach is dog-friendly and people friendly. On nice days it seems like half of San Francisco is here. One end of the beach is designated as the dog section although dogs are pretty much all over the place. It is a great spot for a picnic, getting your feet wet, or enjoying the view of the sailboats and Golden Gate Bridge.
