Took doggie for the first time today and she loved it. Had her off the leash on the initial walkway but put her back on as we got deeper into the canyon. The low hanging trees and general riparian habitat make this such a pleasurable hike. You really feel like you've left the City far far behind. Everyone on the trail was super friendly, even with Lila got a little barky. All in all a great experience and one that I'll come back to.

This place is a great place to hike with your pup. Green and lush surrounding makes you feel like you have traveled north to the redwood forest. I see lots of dogs off leash even though it is technically not an off leash park.

Excellent park. As of 11/09, reports of police being cranky about off-leash and dogs on athletic field.

Wonderful place, makes you forget you're in the city. Betsy has a blast at the "Puppies Behind Bars" fundraiser picnic/benefits.

Natural beauty and lots of dogs to hang with. Feels like a hidden forest & saw some baby owls too!
