We've stayed here multiple times over the past 5 years. They're soooooo dog-friendly! And the rooms are great - but the in-room breakfast is even better! They'll even give you a list of dog-friendly wineries and restaurants and such.

Somewhere between 3.5- and 4 bones, but I'm deducting a bit b/c it's very pricey. It is a very nice hotel, but what you get may not really match the price you pay. But that's Napa in general I guess... the rooms are nice, it's right on the river, and the fact that they welcome dogs is great. They also let you bring them in to the wine/jazz place, Silos, and there are a number of outside dining options for when the weather is nice. They apparently have a 'doggie package' but you need to specifically ask them, otherwise you may just get the pet fee without the benefit. Overall a good place to stay with your dog in Napa if you can get a deal.

Last year at the SPCA silent auction we bought a dog friendly night away at the Napa River Inn. After almost a year we finally made it. Unfortunately, it decided to rain all day Saturday which severely limited our dog friendly fun. The hotel has lots of good outdoor spaces. It is right on the river walk and has plenty of outside dining spots.
All of the staff at the hotel loved our pup and there was a water bowl outside. The hotel charges $25 for pets and did not provide any doggie extras. Their website says they have a doggie welcome package so be sure to ask. They charged us for the pet fee and had us sign the paperwork but didn't give us any off the extras.
