As a mother of a rather rambunctious lab, who craves attention and the need to expel energy frequently, Deborah quickly became way more than just Bella's afternoon play companion. She is a significant care giver to Bella, from providing training and behavioral advice, hosing down a muddy lab almost daily during the rainy season, lending a compassionate ear during times when Bella was hospitalized to helping in a pinch when work requires me to travel. Deborah is someone I trust completely with my dog. She understands and respects that Bella means the world to me. Deborah has a genuine love for animals. I know this not only from my experience working with her, but also from Bella's response anytime I'm at home and Deborah comes to the door. Bella immediately grabs one of her stuffed animals as a gift for Deborah and runs around in circles unable to contain her excitement.
We've been using Dog Tales for over eight years. I couldn't recommend Deborah and her staff more highly. We have also worked with Crystal on several occassions. Both are fantastic!

We love the whole crew at Dog Tales. Deborah has been taking our dogs out for doggie play groups for almost 6 years now, and there's never been a problem. In fact, Deborah is great at providing feedback on the dogs and how they are doing, and has worked with us and our trainer whenever we've had a problem. Crystal is loved by all - even our cat, who doesn't like anybody. And G.G. loves to see Bruce come to the door for a trip to the park. They are all great with the dogs, they take good care of the house when we're away, and we never have to worry a second while we're out of town. Plus, Deborah is very conscientious and extremely flexible, somehow keeping up with our schedules even when we have trouble keeping things straight for ourselves!
Bottom line - we would recommend Deborah and Dog Tales without reservation. Great people who do great work.

My two dachshunds love Crystal! She has been patient and caring with barky Coco and nurturing and understanding of Frannie's slow pace and physical disability. Crystal really thinks about each dog and how to best care for them. She is communicative about how things are going and even though I call her too often she is always willing to give cheerful on-the-spot reports. Deb and Crystal are both highly professional and we adore them.

Deborah's Dog Tales service is amazing. They are reliable, trustworthy and amazing with dogs. We've had Bruce, one of Deborah's many dog walkers, come to spend time with our lab mix (Nelson) over the past year - and he has been nothing but WONDERFUL. He is very reliable and has never once called in "sick" or been unable to take Nelson out. Come rain or shine, Bruce is at our house to take Nelson on his daily walk. Recently, we've had Crystal come, too, and she is nothing shy of wonderful either.
I want to share the story of how we got started with Bruce and Deborah and Dog Tales, because I think it speaks to their great care of our dog - and it would have been something I would have wanted to hear when looking for a dog walker. When my husband and I moved to the city, our dog had just had TPLO surgery and wasn't allowed to walk further than a few steps. Deborah and Bruce came out to meet our dog and were so wonderful with him. We decided to have Bruce come every day while my husband and I were at work to let Nelson out, help him to the "yard" to go potty and spend some time quality time with him to make sure he was comfortable, had water and hadn't fallen or hurt himself. Bruce did an amazing job! Nelson, our dog, LOVES Bruce and has so much fun with him. Nelson is now fully recovered; however, we still have Bruce come every day to let him out and walk him around because they bonded so well.
We've also have Deborah coordinate to have Bruce or Crystal stay at our house while we are out of town often and he has been INCREDIBLE every time! They watch our house, play with Nelson, took him on walks several times a day and made sure to keep our place clean. And all at the same price (actually a little less) than taking Nelson to a boarding facility / "doggie spa." AND Nelson likes staying home MUCH better than the doggie spa.
I can't speak enough about how trustworthy Dog Tales has been too - we've even called them on the way out of town (we had our dog with us) when we realized our heat was still on. They were so great and went over to turn it off for us.
If you are looking for a trustworthy, reliable and knowledgeable (Deborah has many dog certifications) dog walker, someone to come just stay with your dog for 15 minutes a day or a dog sitter for the weekend, you should definitely contact Deborah. She has a staff of people that are all amazing! You won't be disappointed at all!!!

If there were 6 bones Rosy (my dog) would give them to Deborah. Deborah has been walking and/or boarding Rosy since the week we adopted her 4 years ago. Deborah earned our trust from day 1 with her genuine, honest, professional, caring approach and love for Rosy and her other dogs. She has always gone above and beyond to do what is best for Rosy and whatever she can to help us take care of her. Rosy definitely considers her one of her pack and cries with excitement whenever she sees Deborah. I highly recommend Deborah (and her team) to take care of your four legged family members...they will be in great care!

My dog is shy with most people, so I was thrilled when, after her third trip out with Deborah, I could tell that she was comfortable and even eager to go.
Since my dog tends to be the loser dog park altercation I was please to see how seriously Deborah takes animal First Aid and behavior assessment. Safety is her top priority, giving me the peace of mind.
It isn't very often that I've met a dog walker that is so committed to their job. In the year that she walked my girl she has never once canceled a walk. I'm a big fan of a this trustworthy dog walker.

Deborah is WONDERFUL and so reliable - she is always available at our last minute requests - and on multiple occasions has gone above and beyond her call of duty. Our Golden Retriever, Tucker, and our two persian cats (not the easist to take care of) all adore her and Crystal. Most recently, she was taking care of our two cats and our sink decided to back up and flood our house while we were away - she spent her time cleaning up the mess and making sure our neighbor was aware of the situation to take care of future flooding. If it were not for her being so thoughtful and quick thinking, our house would have completely flooded and done thousands in damage. Because of her, we only paid $150 for roto-rooter and problem solved.... I can not recommend her enough for either dog walks or pet sitting while away - she will keep you at ease that your beloved pets are well taken care of a loved and your house is secure and safe!!!
