I have brought my small dog (9lbs) into Room & Board more than a few times and she has always been warmly greeted by the staff. I try to keep her off the furniture, but one time she jumped on a sofa, I told her "off" and the staff person said "don't worry about it." I wouldn't hesitate to bring a well-trained dog here. There is always a dog bowl by the front door. Isn't that the universal symbol for "dogs welcome here."

This is a beautiful, spacious store, but let's be honest: it's not a great idea to take your dog furniture shopping at an expensive place. This R& B is really large and spacious though. But beware that there's tons of expensive stuff around, so it's probably better to leave the pup at home if you want to come here (unless you have one that fits in your purse or is very well trained).
