Great park, big open lawn area fenced in where dogs can run, friendly dogs/owners, water and toys. Has a small dog area and a large dog area.

Nice, large park so your dog can exercise then socialize (my prejudice is that people bring tired, submissive dogs to meet each other, rather than excited dogs who haven't been calmed down first...). Nice, expansive area for large dogs, so-so sized for small. Plenty of benches but not too much shade. Sociable group of owners, though the day I went there, there were a couple of fights (dogs, not owners). A bit socially awkward for the humans who weren't completely in control of their dogs, but otherwise a great experience!

I live in hercules and I come all the way out here when ever I can!
They even have lighting for after dark. That area have nice people, too :)
