I was a regular visitor of this park. My lovely lakeland terrier would have fun here especially when he was younger. it wasnt until the last few visits that actually changed my perspectives on not only dog owners but certain dog breeds as well.

First off, i notice this dog run is actually not a DOG RUN. Because most of the owners actually sit down and hold their dog on a leash. why? Because their dog cannot be trusted and is most likely vicious. So why bring your dog here? The other day, i bought my dog in here who is a mere 17 pounds and there sat a mexican couple, very young probably highschool who had a PITBULL , probably about 200 pounds VERY LARGE DOG. As my dog ran up to sniff the other dogs, you know, the usual, my dog went to sniff the pitbull that was tied up. as he got near, the pitbull attacked my dog.I pulled him away as fast as i could. At the same time ,i was immediately scolded by members of the dog run. They said YOUR DOG IS UGLY, YOU CANT CONTROL YOUR DOG. EXCUSE ME! MY DOG HAS NEVER ATTACKED ANYONE OR ANYTHING AND TO BE ON THE REAL SIDE, YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT A LAKELAND TERRIER BOUNCING YOU DOWN AND BITING YOU. WHEN PEOPLE SEE MY DOG, THEY PET IT. WHEN YOU SEE A PITBULL,YOU MOST LIKELY CROSS THE STREET.


INDEED, THE PITBULL IS A POWERFUL DOG. There are even some white people adopt pitbulls because they think that because its in their hands that its a good dog. BULLSHIT. Theres a reason they are banned in the UK, Germany,Australia, miami and several other cities.

I do not recommend this park to anyone . You want a REAL dog run, go to the run at prospect park. I DARE you to take any dog that cant be controlled there. THEY WILL RUN YOU OUT OF THE PARK IF YOU BRING A VICIOUS DOG AROUND. I dare you.This park is for newbies who havent socialized their dogs at a young age. Now their dogs, 200 pounds later, are just getting around to seeing other dogs. a little too f'ing late for that.

Oh, and if youre a afraid of getting messy or getting your dog messy DONT TAKE THEM OUT THE HOUSE. And dont bring your dog to a dog run IF HE CANT RUN. if you have to TIE UP YOUR DOG then theres a reason behind that and YOU SHOULD NOT BE THERE.

Like i said, this dog run is for low lives as i have found. first few times were ok, now its a bunch of youngsters who dont know anything about dogs and only insult people. TOUCHE DOUCHE BAGS ,TOUCHE. If you like friendly people and a nice clean park , go to prospect dog run or downtown brooklyn dog run. OR if you like mexican girls with yellow hair calling your dog ugly , then be my guest.

The dog run is next to Washington Park, where the Old Stone House is located. The dog run is behind the Novo Condo building.

They have 2 fenced areas, 1) for smaller dogs, 2) for larger dogs. They have gravel. So wear jeans you don't care about being dirty.

I have gone several times. Both my Teacup Poodle and Jack Russell have enjoyed themselves.

There has been more dogs within the larger dog area. We like to walk our little 4 legged friends before going to the dog run, making it more enjoyable and fun for all.
