PAWS is a great organization that helps low-income individuals with disabling conditions like HIV/AIDS keep their pets with them utilizing financial/human support! This keeps pets from being surrendered and possibly euthanized for a lack of a home.
They also keep "watch" on animals that might otherwise go without necessary vet care because of the illness of their owners. By helping these owners do the best they can for their pets, they keep families together!
