The staff at SOAR were very dog friendly! They have life jackets for sale (about $20) and were ready with treats to greet my dog. The only concern is that the boats aren't super sturdy and in certain places the currents get a little strong, so you need to be careful about capsizing (we did; luckily we'd gotten our dog a life jacket and it wasn't a big deal), but I'd be careful especially with smaller dogs and poor swimmers. But there were lots of dogs on the river and they are happy to have them. Just bring water and treats for your pup!
