We have been bringing our girls to Pet Camp for years and they love it! It can get a little pricey with extras but then you can customize the activities to suit your pet's needs. Customer service is outstanding and it's worth the drive up the peninsula to make sure our dogs are safe and well cared for while we are away. We usually order a "wash 'n wear" before we pick up so we're sure to have clean fluffy puppies when they go home.

The customer services is great and it seems like they really try to understand how animals think and know how to value those things that are important to the animals.

This is a great place to board an active dog(or multiple dogs!) or cat(s) as part of a family! When I visited them, they had some great amenities for individuals who love their pets like children! You can pay more for extra individual time, treats, bathing, transportation, swim time, etc.

Assuming you don't have the money to pay someone professional to come live with your dog or cat for a week, it's probably a safer/cheaper alternative to park them at Pet Camp and let your neighbor pick up your mail. (though rates start at 25-32/day for a kitty, and 45/day for a dog, but extras can add up quickly if you want to pamper your pet...)

It is also great that they defer to individual veterinarians about vaccinating dogs for Bordetella every 6 months or once per year. That could save you $100 if you would need to go visit the vet for an extra vaccination that your vet might think wasn't necessary.

They also have an "outdoor" environment for cats, which is great! The only risk is that they'll love it so much they might try to escape a little when they get home, so be extra careful!

Another special thing that Pet Camp does is focus on being environmentally friendly, which I think is better for the pets too!

If your looking for a reasonable, place to board your pet especially if it needs to be close to SFO, this is it. They are great with pets, medications, food requirements and all the other stuff. It doesnt seem to be in a great neighborhood, and the exercise is done in a large indoor/outdoor cement yard. They make up for any shortfalls with great attention and a reasonable cost.
